New vacancy: Experienced Project Officer/Manager

We have a vacancy for an experienced Project Officer/Manager at our Head Office who will be responsible for managing a range of projects from set up through to publication in a predominantly office based role, but will also be expected to manage fieldwork projects and undertake occasional watching briefs and other fieldwork activities from time to time. Potential candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Appropriate experience of supervising/managing archaeological fieldwork projects

  • Experience of producing and editing reports to publication

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Good experience of commercial archaeology and client liaison

  • Flexible attitude to working in a hands-on, small company, environment

A full clean driving licence and current CSCS card are essential. CIfA membership preferred. The position is subject to a 3 month probation period. 24 days holiday and pension scheme membership.
