Huxley Lecture Room, University of Brighton Saturday 21 March

The Sussex School of Archaeology recently organised the 2015 Sussex Archaeology Symposium at the University of Brighton. A lively and interesting day, focussing on the landscape and development of agriculture in Southern Britain, the various speakers considered different aspects of fields from their early development in Prehistory through to more recent times. We were fortunate to host a day which brought together some of the leading experts and additionally enabled exciting reports to be fed back relating to some of the most recent archaeological research in the area.
